IMPORTANT FOR ALL SINGLE WHEEL APPLICATIONS: Depending on exhaust location, exhaust tip size, and exhaust modifications, exhaust heat may damage the mud flap, tread strip, and end cap if a heat shield is not installed.
We highly recommend installing our Heat Shield on vehicles where the exhaust outlet is directed toward the mud flap assembly or where exhaust heat exposure may be increased.
Damage caused by exhaust heat on vehicles not equipped with a heat shield may not be covered under warranty.
